Artist's CommentsThis version of the skin was written for deviantart v4. If you want to skin the current version of deviantart, you will need to install the new version: dA5pook The new version only skins the new v5 pages (ie. not the message center) - so I've modified this old skin to skin the old v4 style pages. After installing dA5pook first, follow these steps to skin your message center (and other v4 style pages): Visit oldblack.css and copy the entire contents of the page. Then click on the Stylish icon in the bottom left of Firefox and select 'Write Style > Blank Style...'. Add a title (ie devart: oldblack) and then paste the contents of the skin into the big text area. Hit save, and you're done Comments
Awesome. That'd be something I like to use. Orange just rocks my socks, man.
really nifty, nice job. -- This is the internet. If you don't like something that is said to you or someone else, do us all a favor and ignore it. If you fail to ignore it, then get over it as quick as possible. Drama is unneeded on the internet. i was going to include how to do it in the description, but there's a bug i haven't bothered to fix yet that crops up when you do it.
instead of using the @import command, copy the contents of the stylesheet and past it into the userContent box in chromEdit (you might want to clear everything that's in there already to make things neater). then scroll to the very bottom, the last block should begin with the comment "compact userpage top" if you remove or comment out that whole block, the userpage stats won't be hidden anymore. in the next version i will seperate the main theme from the smaller optional hacks, so that you can @import the main theme and @import any other hacks you might want... makes things easier for everyone. very nice man, I use Internet Explorer 6, any way for me to use this theme?
